LETTER: Rob Fasulo Is The “Common Sense Candidate” In Wilmington Select Board Race

Dear Editor,

Rob Fasulo is a candidate for Select Board in the April 25th, 2026, town election. Rob is a lifelong resident of Wilmington with a strong record of community involvement. He is deeply connected to the area, having attended Shawsheen Tech, and his children are graduates of Wilmington schools. Rob holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminal Justice Administration and has established himself as a successful local entrepreneur. His commitment to the town’s welfare is evident through his efforts to defeat the MBTA zoning override, which poses ongoing challenges to Wilmington’s suburban character, as well as his pivotal role in preserving the historic Buzzelle Senior Center for future versatile use.

Many residents choose Wilmington for its convenient location and distinctive suburban environment. However, despite repeated votes against the MBTA zoning changes, the town continues to experience significant transformation. Substantial increases in taxes have placed considerable strain on seniors with fixed incomes, and rising costs are making Wilmington less accessible for both new home buyers and long-term residents. Rob intends to champion fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountable governance, qualities essential for the town’s continued success. Ensuring effective leadership is critical for Wilmington’s future, and Rob Fasulo is an outstanding candidate worthy of your support.

The important local election is scheduled for April 25, 2026, and early voting will be available. I encourage every Registered voter in Wilmington to get out and vote and support the commonsense candidate, Rob Fasulo.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Cohen
