WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Monday, March 23, 2026 at 7pm in the Hearing Room at the new Town Hall.
There are some noteworthy items on Monday night’s agenda, including:
— The Town Assessor will give a presentation regarding Property Tax Exemptions for Seniors and Veterans.
— The Select Board will consider the request of the Tavern in the Square to obtain a one-day alcohol license to sell beer and wine at both Fun on the Fourth (four days) and Fall Fest.
— The Town Manager will provide an update on the mulch fire at 333 Andover Street.
— The Town Manager will provide correspondence from the state regarding Wilmington’s Chapter 90 apportionment for FY27 and the Bridge Replacement Project at Route 129 over Route 93.
— The Select Board will consider a request from The Queen Bean to obtain a hawk and peddle license to sell coffee.
— The Select Board will consider amending license fees for all alcohol package store licenses.
— The Select Board will consider Proclaiming March 22, 2026 through April 30, 2026 as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Period.
— The Select Board will consider 10 separate requests regarding usage of the Town Common, Swain Green, and Municipal Parking Lot for various events and activities.
— An Executive Session precedes the meeting at 6pm, where the board will discuss the recent lawsuit filed against the town regarding its non-compliance with the MBTA Communities Act.
