ARLINGTON, MA — Anne Marie (Craig) Quinn died peacefully on March 15, 2026, having lived a full, passionate and spirited life. Born on August 2, 1938, Anne was the daughter of John and Adeline (Leavitt) Craig.
She grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts, later living in Wilmington, MA. Anne attended Matignon High School, graduated from Framingham State University with a bachelor’s degree, and earned her Master of Nutrition degree from Salem State University while pregnant with her 5th child. She was a home economics teacher at Wilmington High School for many years before becoming the Director of the School Food Service program for the Town of Wilmington. She was innovative, creating a program that was self-sufficient. She also served as the President of the Massachusetts School Food Service Association.
She raised 5 daughters while working School Food Service during the day and working as a waitress at night.
Anne retired to Cape Cod, participated in many hobbies, and volunteered with Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, Meals on Wheels, her local Senior Center and church. Anne traveled extensively around the world with her friend Pat, sister Marilyn, and brother-in-law Bill.
Anne was predeceased by her brothers Jackie, William, Paul, The Reverend Richard J. Craig, and her husband John Quinn Jr.
Anne is survived by her sister Marilyn DeOrio (William), sister-in-law Elizabeth Craig and her daughters Sheila Cuyjet (Charles), Patricia Herrick (Lan), Mary Beth Quinn, Denise Wahl (Douglas), and Andrea (Andi) Hoff (Christopher). She has eleven loving grandchildren: Nathan, Thomas, Lindsey, Daniel, Ariel, Courtney, Christopher, Robert, Andrew, Esther, and Adrian.
She is also survived by 4 beautiful great-grandchildren. Anne was a devoted and beloved aunt to 4 nieces and 5 nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street #1, Arlington, on Friday, March 20, from 4 to 7 pm. Her funeral service will be held from St. Agnes Church, 32 Medford Street, Arlington, on Saturday, March 21, at 10:30 am. The service will be live streamed, link provided on https://www.cparl.org/. The link is on the lower right of the website. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 70 Medford Street, Arlington, MA, following the funeral service. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
