Below is a press release from the Wilmington Good Guy Committee:
WILMINGTON, MA — The snowbanks are rapidly disappearing, and so is your opportunity to send in your Nomination letter for the 2026 Wilmington Good Guy Award. The deadline for receiving nominations is tis coming Sunday, March 22, at 5:00PM.
This is the last chance this year for you to tell all of us about this deserving person. What sets them apart from every other good person in Wilmington? How have they made a difference in the lives of others, and how and why do they continue to do it? Simply because it is the right thing to do!
In some instances, they have spent a lifetime donating their time and ability to help others. Many have seen the joy that it gives them to know that they are making a difference. It is good for the soul.
Maybe they are a youth coach, or a tutor. Perhaps they just step up and volunteer their time when a commitment is needed. Sometimes we take them for granted. It is time to recognize them for their efforts, their time and their contribution.
Tell us why this person should be recognized for their efforts and perhaps you can join in the celebration when they join the ranks of the “Good Guys” on Friday May 8, 2026 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Nomination letters can be sent to WilmingtonGoodGuy@gmail.com or mailed to the Wilmington Good Guy Committee at 2 West St. in Wilmington and must be received by the Good Guy Committee no later than 5PM on Sunday March 22nd.
All nomination letters will receive a response from the Committee, and thank YOU for keeping this great tradition alive in Wilmington!
Let’s fill the Hall and give our 2026 Winner the credit that they deserve!
