OBITUARY: Lee E. Carpenter, 76

Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:

WILMINGTON, MA — Lee E. Carpenter passed away on March 10, 2026, after a long battle with the effects of a stroke. He was born on July 29, 1949, the son of the late Charles and Isabelle (MacKay) Carpenter.

Lee was raised and educated in Wilmington, MA.

He faithfully served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Cadmus at Newport RI.

Lee worked for many years at C E Avery Co. in Newington NH, which was later acquired by Westinghouse. Outside of work he enjoyed hunting and spending time at Camp in York Beach Maine.

He will be sorely missed.

In addition to his parents, Lee was predeceased by his three sons, Jason, Shane, and Erik and his daughter Tami.

Survivors include his son Mark, brother Chuck and his wife Janet of Merrimack NH.

Arrangements are in the care of the Nichols Funeral Home, Wilmington, MA.

Graveside Services with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at 11:30 a.m. at Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave., in Wilmington, MA.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Lee can be made to the Riverside Rest Home, 276 County Farm Road, Dover NH 03820.
