Needleworkers at Night

These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in.

Connect with a Social Worker
Tuesday, March 17, 10am-12pm
The Wilmington Wellness Coalition, in partnership with Wilmington Memorial Library, offers free, confidential sessions at the library for any library patron who may need support. Meet with Samantha Cavanaugh, the Town of Wilmington’s social worker, for help with mental health, substance use, housing, food insecurity, transportation, applications, caregiver support, and more. The first hour will be for drop-ins on a first-come, first-served basis, and the second hour will be appointment based in 20-minute time slots.

Friends of WML Annual Meeting
Thursday, March 19, 7pm
Join us for the annual meeting of the Friends of Wilmington Memorial Library.

Needleworkers
Friday, March 20, 10am-12pm
This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop-in.

Poetry Contest: Words That Grow Submissions Open
Saturday, March 21, All Day
Celebrate World Poetry Day on March 21 and National Poetry Month in April by submitting to the 2026 Poetry Contest! Crafty Kids: Spring Fever

Manga Tryouts

Have a say in manga purchased for the teen collection with this club! During each meeting, we’ll sample 1st volumes of different manga and vote on whether it should be added to WML’s collection. Grades 6-12

Switch it Up! Video Game Club

Love video games? Come to this once-a-month video game club to play Switch games with friends! Grades 1-5

World Poetry Day Celebration

Celebrate World Poetry Day by getting your creative juices flowing for our Annual Poetry Contest! Materials will be provided for black-out poetry, collage poetry, paint swatch poetry and more to help get your creativity going. All Ages
