Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Wilmington Memorial Library staff, I would like to thank the Friends of the Wilmington Library for their work on their 2025 Annual Appeal. The Friends raised $9,000 for the purchase of a privacy booth and laptop for patron use. The privacy booth adds to the library’s roster of reservable meeting rooms. The booth fits one person at a time and can be used for quite study, phone calls, telehealth appointments, and virtual job interviews. Its other features include lighting, ventilation, a stool, a tabletop, and charging ports. The booth can be reserved by phone, in-person, or at wilmlibrary.org. Thank you also to all who contributed to the Friends Annual Appeal.
Sincerely,
Nathalie Harty
Director, Wilmington Memorial Library
