WILMINGTON, MA — Patricia A. (Rotondo) Wagner, “Pat,” age 81, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026.
Born on January 18, 1945, in Revere, Pat was the cherished daughter of the late Philip A. and Salvatressa M. “Sadie” (Stella) Rotondo. She was raised and educated in Boston and went on to further her education at Mass Bay Community College, where she earned her degree in accounting.
On February 2, 1969, Pat married “the love of her life,” John C. “Jack” Wagner. They recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary, a testament to their enduring love and devotion. After living in the city for a few years, they settled in Wilmington in 1972, where they built a warm and welcoming home. In 1974, Pat and Jack joyfully welcomed their only son, Jason. Pat was a devoted wife and mother who treasured her family above all else.
Pat worked as an office manager at Liberty Equipment in Tewksbury. She took great pride in her work, skillfully managing bookkeeping and a wide range of administrative responsibilities with dedication and care.
In her spare time, Pat enjoyed reading, especially suspense novels by James Patterson. She also loved golfing with family and friends. Pat had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Rocky, who predeceased her. She cherished the time they spent together, playing, taking walks, and simply enjoying each other’s company.
Pat will be remembered for her love of family, her strong work ethic, and the kindness she shared with those around her.
Pat was the beloved wife of Jack C. Wagner; the devoted mother of Jason Wagner of Wilmington; the dear sister of Marianne Hutchings and her husband David, and Joseph Rotondo & Laurie McPhillips, all of Rockland. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, February 28th, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
