WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, February 17, 2026:
Railroad train gates were down for at least five minutes at Main Street and Middlesex Avenue. Police notified Keolis. Keolis responded and remained on scene after fix to monitor situation. (10:28am)
Police received report of someone living under the Burlington Avenue overpass. Police checked the area and could not locate anyone. (2:19pm)
Police was flagged down by a motorist reporting he was involved in a hit and run on Route 125 and 93 ramp. A white pick up truck was involved in a left the scene. Police and State Police responded. The truck was not immediately located. (2:30pm)
A car struck a pole and mailbox on Woburn Street. Police responded and notified Fire and RMLD. Vehicle towed. (11:27pm)
