As a young man PAT worked in his father’s construction business (Puzzo and Sons), before being drafted into the Army during the Korean War. PAT served proudly in the military and ended up stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado – where he met and married the love of his life (Donna L Field). After his discharge, PAT and Donna moved back East to Connecticut where he took a job as a carpenter for Avco Lycoming. A couple yrs later, Avco offered him a chance to relocate to Massachusetts and they purchased their first home in Tewksbury, MA in 1957.

PAT spent the next 2 decades dedicated to raising his Family and advancing his career at Avco as a Plant Engineer of a 1 million sf facility in Wilmington, MA. He supervised the construction of numerous facilities to build out critical systems for Nasa’s Apollo Space Program flying to the moon. He later supervised many projects to build out systems for the US Peacekeeper System Program.

PAT and Donna were huge supporters of their son’s sports careers. From toddlers to adults – they never missed a football, baseball, wrestling game/match. During these years – the Family also enjoyed camping trips all over the Northeast culminating in annual vacations at a winter Snowmobiling Facilty in VT.
PAT and Donna were avid sports fans who enjoyed watching golf and numerous sports on TV (particularly his beloved NE Patriots).

After his sons went to college and moved away, Pat and Donna sold their home and moved to Southern NH. Donna went back to work and they became avid golfers, travelers. After retiring from Avco/Textron (after 46 yrs), PAT and Donna spent many winters in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea – as Florida Snowbirds.
During his retirement, PAT became a very proud and generous supporter of numerous Veterans Affairs and Charities.

PAT was blessed to be loved and respected by everyone who met him (family, friends and colleagues).

Per the Family’s wishes, there will be no services held for PAT. In lieu of flowers, gifts, etc – feel free to make a donation to a Veterans Charity (in PAT’s memory).
