The Wilmington/Tewksbury United Women In Faith is holding a Thrift and Craft Fair, from 10am to 2pm, at the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street). The Fair will feature 20 vendors and robust raffle tables. The list of vendors and featured raffle prizes are in the flyer. Proceeds will benefit organizations serving women and children, locally and globally.
The Commerford Fun Fair returns to the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) during February vacation. The Fair will be open on Saturday, February 14, 2026 (10am-7pm); Sunday, February 15, 2026 (10am-6pm); and Monday, February 16, 2026 (10am-6pm). These fairs, held year-round up and down the east coast, are a “fun, friendly, and safe place to bring your family.” They feature rides, games, and a unique chance to interact with animals. Due to a town ordinance, please note certain animals will not be featured. Tickets cost $22 for for adults at the door and $17 in advance online HERE. Children 12 and under are free with a coupon available at local businesses and at the front box office during the event. Rides and other vendors inside are an additional cost. The Middlesex Canal Association invites Wilmington residents to its Winter Meeting at 1pm in the first-floor community meeting room at Pollard Memorial Library (401 Merrimack St, Lowell, behind City Hall). The meeting will include a special presentation on “Towpaths To Bike Paths.” Canal towpaths are as good as railroad tracks for conversion to multi-use bike and walking trails. The Middlesex Canal can provide the connecting links bridging the gap between existing rail trails to Boston, Framingham, and Newburyport. Presented by Doug Chandler, a proprietor of the Middlesex Canal Association and a member of the State’s Middlesex Canal Commission.
