2026 Wilmington Good Guy Nominations Now Being Accepted

Below is a press release from the Wilmington Good Guy Committee:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Patriots’ Season is over and Spring Training for the Red Sox has not started yet. While you are waiting for the snow to melt and for temperatures to moderate, how about spending a few minutes drafting a nomination letter for the 2026 Wilmington Good Guy Award?

It is that time of the year where we ask folks to tell us about that special person from Wilmington who goes above and beyond to make Wilmington a better place to live. Tell us why this person should be recognized for their efforts and perhaps you can join in the celebration when they join the ranks of the “Good Guys” on Friday May 8, 2026 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Maybe they coach a youth sports team or perhaps they are the first in line to volunteer at a wide range of Community activities. They might be someone who gives others a ride to the doctor’s office or goes shopping for an elderly neighbor. They are likely to be involved in several programs around Town, whether at the Senior Center, a local Church, a School Function, or organizing others in a Community-based project.
These people are all around us and sometimes we take them for granted. It is time to recognize them for their efforts, time and talents.

Nomination letters can be sent to WilmingtonGoodGuy@gmail.com or mailed to the Wilmington Good Guy Committee at 2 West St. in Wilmington. Nomination letters must be received the Good Guy Committee no later than 5PM on Sunday, March 22, 2026 and will be voted on the following week.

Let’s fill the Hall and give our 20026 Winner the credit that they deserve!
