WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for February 5, 2026

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, February 5, 2026:

A caller reported train gates have been down on Woburn Street with no trains coming through. Police responded. Confirmed same issue on Concord Street. Police notified Keolis, which had workers in the area who did respond. (2:26am)

A caller reported she drove by a transit bus with an activated ‘call police’ sign. Police contacted LRTA and MBTA. Police stopped bus on Concord Street. Driver was being trained and there was an issue with the sign board, which was turned off. (12:10pm)

Caller accidently got into the wrong vehicle in the Subway parking lot on Ballardvale Street. They now can’t get out. Police responded. Caller got out of vehicle and checked OK. Caller and police couldn’t locate vehicle owner. (2:02pm)

A walk-in party found two birth certificates in the area of Salem Five Bank on Main Street. (5:27pm)

Employee at Wilmington Liquors reported two male parties fighting outside of the business. While it was initially thought they got into the same vehicle, police later found out they left in separate vehicles. Police were unable to locate either. Police reviewed security camera footage. Parties were wrestling, but no actual fight. (7:05pm)
