WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for February 4, 2026

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, February 4, 2026:

Police checked on a vehicle in the McKinnon’s parking lot. Party was sleeping and would be moving along shortly. (2:56am)

A caller reported she struck a dog that run into the roadway on Burlington Avenue in Wilmington. Dog ran off. Animal Control Officer located dog with help of a good Samaritan and brought to Mass Vet. Dog owner lived in Burlington and was actively searching for dog. Burlington Animal Control Officer also responded. (7:17am)

Police assisted LRTA bus which got stuck due to illegally parked vehicles in the MBTA parking lot. (10:06am)

Police assisted a resident in trying to locate a piece of jewelry she lost in the snow. (10:07am)

A walk-in party reported tax fraud. (12:19pm)

Caller reported a small white school bus was broken down in the middle of the McDonald’s parking lot, causing traffic issues. Driver got picked up and bus remains there. Police contacted North Reading Transportation, which is arranging for a private tow. (6:46pm)
