Governor’s Councillor Eunice Zeigler Launches Re-Election Campaign

Below is a press release from Governor’s Councilor Eunice Zeigler’s campaign committee:

METHUEN, MA — Governor’s Councillor Eunice Zeigler recently launched her re-election campaign.

“I’m running for reelection to the Governor’s Council to continue the work that we have done together in building a strong bench of qualified judges in the Commonwealth” said Zeigler. “I look forward to working tirelessly for and with the people of the Fifth District to advance efforts to fulfill the promise of equality in our Commonwealth’s justice system.”

Since taking office, Zeigler has used her role as Governor’s Councillor to increase transparency in the judgeship process and guidance on how to navigate the system of becoming a judge. She held the district’s first ever Pathways to the Bench panel that drew over 100 law students, community members and prospective judges to Massachusetts School of Law in Andover. In the Fall, she held a similar panel in collaboration with various bar associations including the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association and cosponsored by SABA GB (South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston), AALAM (Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts), MBWA (Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys), MAHA (Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys), MA LGBTQ Bar (Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association), AABA-MA (Arab-American Bar Association of MA), and WBA (Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts).

Zeigler is a proud first-generation Haitian American and product of the Methuen Public Schools. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of Arts in Economic and Social Development of Regions degrees from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Zeigler will hold an official campaign launch event on Thursday March 5, 2026. RSVP and ticket information can be found at: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/zeiglerfor5.
