WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Monday, February 9, 2026 at 7pm in the Hearing Room at the new Town Hall.
There are some noteworthy items on Monday night’s agenda, including:
— Town Clerk Elizabeth Lawrenson will discuss her plans for the 2026 Elections, including requesting in-person voting for the Annual Town Election.
— The Select Board will hold a public hearing on proposed changes for rules and regulations on alcohol licenses.
— The Town Manager will provide the Select Board with an update on petitioned warrant articles for the Annual Town Meeting on May 2, including a warrant article to name the WHS Athletic Hall of Fame after Jack Cushing.
— The Select Board will consider the request of the Recreation Department to use the Town Common and Gazebo for Concerts on the Common on Wednesdays — July 8, July 15, July 22 and July 29.
— The Select Board will consider authorized bond issuances relative to the Elementary School Project; a Water Main Improvement Project; and the Industrial Way Sewer Pump Station Project.
— Select Board member Lil Maselli will announce her appointment of Brian Kane to the Wilmington Economic Development Committee.
— The Select Board will recognize the recently retired Veterans Services Director Lou Cimaglia for his 20+ years of service to the town.
— An Executive Session precedes the meeting at 6pm, where the board will discuss the recent lawsuit filed against the town regarding its non-compliance with the MBTA Communities Act.
