WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Rotary Club and the Wilmington High School Rotary Interact Club will be hosting and participating in our fourth annual “End Polio Now” Polar Plunge Fundraiser at Silver Lake’s Town Beach on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11am.
All proceeds raised will go to Rotary International in its continuing efforts to eradicate the disease of Polio from the World. A “Go Fund Me” Account has been set up to receive donations at https://gofund.me/ce72ece1a.
Unheated changing facilities are available at the Beach House and a Pizza Luncheon will be served at a local restaurant for all who participate, following the event.
This is always an enthusiastic and fun event for a great cause. Presuming that the ice on the lake has thawed by March 28th, we invite local residents to come to cheer on and support our intrepid plungers in their efforts to support Rotary’s cause of “Service Above Self”.
