WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, January 26, 2026:
DPW reported a Martens Street resident was hindering snow removal by blowing snow at a plow truck. Police responded and spoke to homeowner, who was upset that snow was being pushed back into this driveway. Police advised him not to impede snow removal operations. (10:39am)
Police notified DPW that a 25 MPH sign on Woburn Street was knocked over. (1:21pm)
Police received report of ATVs operating in the roadway on Jere Road. Police responded and found operators on Fairmeadow Road. They were advised not to operate ATVs on public ways. (1:53pm)
Anonymous caller reported a neighbor was blowing snow onto the roadway on Fifth Street. Police responded and advised homeowner not to blow snow onto the roadway. (2:30pm)
A car got stuck in a snow bank at Woburn Street and Lowell Street. No injuries. A tow truck pulled the vehicle out. No damage to vehicle. (2:46pm)
