WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, January 19, 2026:
A caller reported while she was at the North Wilmington Shell gas parking lot, her car was struck by an Amazon van. The van drove off. Police headed to Amazon Warehouse to speak with driver. (11:03am)
Police responded to a neighbor dispute on Nickerson Avenue. One neighbor claimed the other struck him with a shovel, but the incident was not as reported. (1:32pm)
Train track gates were stuck down for approximately 15 minutes at Main Street and Middlesex Avenue. Police started to navigate cars through as MBTA confirmed another train wasn’t coming through until 5pm. Keolis arrived on scene to fix gates. (4:15pm) Subsequent issues with gates and light cycles were reported at 4:56pm and 6:45pm.
