Bookends Book Group
Monday, January 26, 10am
This book group discusses contemporary books, both fiction and non-fiction, led by Library Associate Rebecca. Please stop by the library to pick up a copy of the featured book. This month’s featured books are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Longbourn by Jo Baker.

Needleworkers at Night
Monday, January 26, 6-8pm
These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in.

Intro to Android Phones
Monday, January 26, 7pm
This class will show you how to navigate your device, how to manage notifications, where to find out where your pictures are being backed up, and more.

New Year’s Yoga Series
Wednesday, January 28, 3pm
Start the year off right with a gentle yoga series led by Yoga Loft instructors.

Coffeehouse Concert: Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light
Thursday, January 29, 6:30pm
Come in from the cold for our first Coffeehouse Concert of 2026! Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light are a Boston-based string band making music they call “Femericana” – Americana with a splash of feminine rage.

French Conversation Group
Thursday, January 29, 7pm
Join us to speak French with other francophiles! This is a new monthly group for anyone who loves to speak and listen to French. Join volunteer group leader Nathalie Hayduk for this stress-free, low-key group to speak French on a more regular basis. After this first meeting, this group will meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7pm. Please note that this is not a French Class.

Needleworkers
Friday, January 30, 10am
This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop-in.

Community Farewell for Gloria Corcoran
Friday, January 30, 4-6pm
Join us as we honor Admin Assistant, Gloria, at her Retirement Celebration! Administrative Assistant Gloria Corcoran is retiring after 34 years of dedicated service at Wilmington Memorial Library. Please join us in the Conversation Area as we honor and celebrate Gloria’s remarkable career. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of WML, and Gloria will be presented with the Retirement Baldwin Apple as part of the celebration.

Wilmington Community Playgroup

Manga Tryouts
Thursday, January 29, 3:30pm
Have a say in manga purchased for the teen collection with this club! During each meeting, we’ll sample 1st volumes of different manga and vote on whether it should be added to WML’s collection. Grades 6-12

Music and More with Miss Bernadette
Saturday, January 31, 9:30am
Join Early Childhood Educator Bernadette Baird for singing, dancing, instrument play and storytime in this fun and relaxing family event! Ages 0-4

Need support or resources? Connect with a Social Worker at WML.
The Wilmington Wellness Coalition and Wilmington Memorial Library offer free, confidential sessions with the Town of Wilmington’s social worker on the first and third Tuesday and second and fourth Thursday of the month. Library Resource: Birds of the World
