WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, January 12, 2026:
A caller at Lowes warehouse reported a bag with an unknown substance was found in an returned appliance. Police retrieved bag for destruction. (4:06pm)
Animal Control Officer responded to report of an injured rabbit in the area of Adams Street and Middlesex Avenue. (5:33pm)
A caller reported a red van struck a tree in his neighbor’s yard and almost struck the house on Adams Street. Van left the scene and headed onto Parker Street. Police could not locate vehicle. Police confirmed damage to lawn and trees. (10:28pm)
Police, Fire and State Police responded to multi-vehicle crash on 93 North, prior to Exit 34. Highway was temporarily down to one open lane. (10:38pm)
