OBITUARY: Edmund Ring, 63

NASHUA, NH — Edmund T. Ring, 63, of Litchfield, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Edmund was born on June 20, 1962, in Somerville, Massachusetts. Throughout his life, he made his home in several communities including Somerville and Wilmington, Massachusetts, as well as Litchfield, Nashua, Manchester, and Derry, New Hampshire. Each place reflected a chapter of a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and strong family ties.

Edmund had a lifelong passion for sports. Whether it was baseball, football, basketball, hockey, or race car racing, he truly enjoyed following the games and sharing conversations with anyone who shared his enthusiasm. His love of sports brought people together and was a constant source of enjoyment in his life.

A dedicated and dependable worker, Edmund held several positions over the years, including employment with Suburban Auto Parts, Green Mountain Carriers, Walmart, and most recently Sanel Auto Parts, where he worked until 2020. In addition to his professional life, Edmund proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter in Litchfield, New Hampshire, a role that reflected his willingness to help others and give back.

Edmund was predeceased by his mother, Mary Ring; his father, Timothy Ring; his stepmother, Alice Ring; and his stepbrother, Paul LeBlanc.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Joanne Ring of Derry, New Hampshire; his brother, Francis Ring and his wife Lisa of Manchester, New Hampshire; his nephew, Jeffrey Ring and his wife Kourtney of Ayer, Massachusetts; and his stepbrother, Leo LeBlanc and his wife Pamela of Manchester, New Hampshire. He is also survived by his three stepdaughters, Holley Gleason of Derry, New Hampshire, Gloria Cruz of Athol, Massachusetts, and Julie Rocha of Methuen, Massachusetts; eight step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to his life.

Edmund will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his work and community, and his passion for the sports he enjoyed so deeply. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, December 29th, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 5:30 PM, at the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street, Hudson, New Hampshire. Burial will be private.
