WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, December 23, 2025:
A caller reported two motor bikes were doing wheelies on Main Street ad driving on the wrong side of the road. Police followed bikes onto Richmond Street, but not in pursuit. Riders were going onto sidewalks to pass cars. Billerica and Burlington notified. Police eventually lost sight of the bikes. (11:52am)
G. Enrique Perez-Ramirez (39, Lynn) was arrested for Shoplifting By Asportation (Valued At Over $250) and Shoplifting By Asportation. Target Loss Prevention Officer detained an alleged shoplifter for alleged shoplifting incident on December 7 and another alleged shoplifting incident today. A Spanish interpreter was requested — a Methuen Police Officer responded. Perez-Ramirez was driving a FedEx truck. Truck was left in the lot and co-workers were contacted to pick up vehicle. (4:04pm)
MBTA requested assistance with an unruly passenger refusing to pay. Conductor will meet police officers on platform at Wilmington Commuter Rail station. Transit Police arrived on scene to handle. (11:16pm)
