The New England Brass Band is holding a holiday concert at 3pm at the Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue). Ring in the season with the brilliance of brass! The New England Brass Band returns to Wilmington with a program of inspiring Christmas music. From lively arrangements to serene and beautiful carols, this concert promises holiday cheer for audiences of all ages. Come enjoy an afternoon of festive music in the heart of Wilmington. Admission is a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Donations will be accepted at the door.
Chabad Lubavitch of Merrimack Valley is holding a Menorah Lighting Ceremony on the Town Common at 4:30pm. The public is invited to the ceremony, which will include latkes, donuts and music.
The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks are holding a Toy Drive from noon to 3pm at the Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks Lodge (777 South Street). If you’re doing some holiday shopping, pick up an extra gift for a child in need. All toys will be donated to the Toys for Tots Foundation.
The Parish of the Transfiguration is conducting a Christmas Food Drive to help families in need within the St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s parish. Donations can be left inside the entrances of both St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s prior to the masses on December 13, 2025 and December 14, 2025. Grocery store gift cards in any denomination are needed for each dinner basket and would be much appreciated.
CHRISTMAS TREE SALES: Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) is selling Christmas trees from 9am to 8pm on the church’s front lawn. Boy Scout Troop 56 is selling Christmas trees from 11am to 5pm in the Colonial Plaza parking lot (35 Lowell Street). Learn more HERE.
The Shawsheen Tech (100 Cook Street) holds Family Swim on Sundays, from12:30pm to 1:45pm. Come make a splash and enjoy some quality time together in their pool. The cost is $5 per person, with a family deal of $20 for up to 6 family members.
The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
