Below is a press release from the Wilmington Planning & Conservation Department:
WILMINGTON, MA — At the close of 2025, the Community Cleanup miniseries volunteer team, organized by the Planning & Conservation Department, tackled four different areas around town that needed some serious TLC. This included Town Park, Town Hall and surrounding areas, Rotary Park, and the Silver Lake/Grove Avenue areas. Over 60 people have signed up and if you’re interested, you should sign up too! We welcome anyone interested in getting involved more in the community. Limited range of motion/mobility? We need data collectors! There is a job for everyone, regardless of age.
The Wilmington Planning & Conservation Department will continue to run this series into and through 2026. To participate, you are encouraged to sign up, simply click the link below to do so. The beauty of the series is that if you miss an event, there will be another one! Signing up puts you on the list to be contacted for any upcoming events. We look forward to continuing to work with you to help keep Wilmington beautiful.
