WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, November 14, 2025:
Loss prevention officer at Target reported an attempted shoplifting. A male party tried to leave with an entire car worth of items. Loss prevention was able to get the cart and items back. Male party took off running left onto Ballardvale Street. Police responded, but was unable to locate party. (4:57pm)
Police assisted the Fire Department with an oven fire on North Street. (5:38pm)
Police received two calls regarding vehicles doing burnouts in the Wilmington Plaza parking lot. Police responded and believed the calls to likely be unfounded. No damage to the parking lot was observed. (11:39pm)
