LIBRARY NEWS: Wilmington Library Opens Little Free Pantry In Front Library; To Host 16 Programs Next Week

Below are announcements from the Wilmington Memorial Library:

Little Free Pantry Now Open!
In response to the SNAP Benefits freeze, Wilmington Memorial Library has opened a Little Free Pantry in our front lobby. This community shelf is open to everyone- take what you need, give what you can- no questions asked. When donating, please make sure any food items are non-perishable (i.e. canned goods, pasta, rice, beans, etc.) and not expired. We are also accepting donations of unopened/unused toiletries. Pantry can be found in the library front foyer. (Please note this is a temporary initiative during the SNAP Benefits freeze. When benefits resume, any remaining items will be donated to a local food pantry.)
