WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a basic overview of what’s open and closed in Wilmington on Veterans Day (Tuesday, November 11, 2025):

REMINDER: The Wilmington Department of Veterans’ Services invites all the residents of Wilmington to attend, remember and honor all our past and present veterans on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 11am on the Wilmington Town Common.

There will be no trash or recycle pickup on Veterans Day. A one-day delay starts after the holiday.

  • Town, State & Federal Offices: CLOSED
  • Wilmington Memorial Library: CLOSED
  • Wilmington Senior Center: CLOSED
  • Wilmington Trash Collection: NONE (Delayed One Day)
  • Post Office: CLOSED
  • Banks: CLOSED
  • Grocery Stores: OPEN
    • Market Basket: 7am-9pm
    • McKinnon’s: 7am-7pm
    • Elia’s Country Store: 8am-8pm
  • Liquor Stores: OPEN
  • Convenience Stores: OPEN
  • Retail Stores: OPEN (at owner’s discretion)
  • Restaurants & Bars: OPEN (at owner’s discretion)
  • MBTA: Operating on a regular Monday schedule
