WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 10 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, November 8, 2025:

Team Blue Real Estate Group is holding a Wig Party fundraiser in support of the Wilmington Community Fund’s 80th Anniversary at 7pm at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). The event will feature live music from the What’s Shakin’ band, as well as 50/50 raffles and prizes. Make sure to bring a donation (monetary or food) for the Wilmington Community Fund’s Food Pantry. Throw on your wildest, wackiest, or most stylish wig and come party for a purpose! Whether you go neon, curly, or classic, it’s all about having fun and supporting our amazing community.

St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church (4 Forest Street) is holding a Bake Sale and Used Clothing Sale from 10am to 2pm. The Used Clothing Sale will have both men’s and women’s clothing — some new with tags and lots of gently used items. Shoes, coats, shirts, pants, dresses, jewelry and more will be for sale. Delicious homemade goodies will also be available for purchase. There will also be a scratch ticket wreath raffle and a 50/50 raffle.

Wilmington and Tewksbury residents are invited to celebrate and support the Dunnett family and the McMullen family at “Hockey for Hope: Tewksbury vs. Wilmington” at the Break Away Ice Center (20 Cater Street) in Tewksbury. Doors open at 6:30pm with a Mites game at 7:05pm and Squirts game at 8:05pm. Tickets cost $12 in advance online and $15 at the door. Purchase tickets HERE. All funds raised from ticket sales, raffles, pizza sales and more will go towards the Dunnett and McMullen families. The event will also showcase some of the talent within the Wilmington Youth Hockey and Tewksbury Youth Hockey programs.

NEW! The Wilmington Collection Pop Up is open from 9am to 1pm at the Wilmington Fourth of July Building. The Wilmington Collection features a wide array of Wilmington-themed apparel, housewares, and gifts — including T-shirts, sweatshirts, blankets, souvenir glasses, magnets, coffee mugs, and much more. The Town’s Yardwaste Center, located on Old Main Street, off of Main Street at the Woburn line, is open from 9am to 4pm.  No contractors or commercial vehicles will be allowed. The drop off of leaves and brush is permitted for Wilmington residents only. Wilmington residents wishing to use the Recycling Center will need to purchase a punch card for $15 which will be good for 5 visits to the Recycling Center. The punch cards may be purchased Monday through Friday (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) at the Tax Collector’s Office at the Town Hall at 121 Glen Road. You will be asked to present your punch card and a photo ID at the entrance to the facility.

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Worlds Within Words Book Group (3pm-4pm).

The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.

Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.
