WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, October 23, 2025:
A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Federal Street. One driver was cited for failure to yield. (10:50am)
Animal Control Officer assisted with removing a squirrel inside the new Town Hall. (3:26pm)
A caller reported 2 dirt bikes were riding up and down the neighborhood on Linda Road. Police spoke with possible owner of bikes and advised to keep them off the road. (3:56pm)
A caller reported a couple of teens throwing firecrackers into oncoming traffic and into woods. Police responded and checked area. No damage noted. Police spoke with reporting party and witness. Police then tracked down owner of vehicle in question and advised them of legal consequences of handing fireworks in Massachusetts. (6:14pm)
