OBITUARY: Edward Farrell Elmore, 91

Edward Farrell Elmore, age 91, of, Bethelridge, KY, passed away on Monday October 27th, 2025, at Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born April 10th, 1934, in Gilpin, KY, a son of the late Cecil Elmore and Eualie Cravens Wall.

Edward Farrell spent most of his life in the printing business working in Cincinnati, OH and Wilmington, MA, upon retiring he returned to Bethelridge, KY on a small farm. He was also known as the “Mayor of Argyle”. He really enjoyed his last 30 years in KY. Having many relatives and friends, he enjoyed visiting and all the people who came to KY to visit him.

Survivors include: his spouse of 54 years: Pauline Mary Elmore, six children: Lynne and (Steve) Bond of Lowell, MA, Darrell and (Karen) Elmore of Erlanger, KY, David Elmore of Lowell, MA, Edward G. and (Jamie) Elmore of Elsmere, KY, Joseph and (Connie) Elmore of Loveland, OH and Catherine Taylor of Florence, KY, nineteen grandchildren: Brady, Serena, Casey, Samantha, Angela, Darren, Edward Z., Jessica, Shane, Annelise, Dylan, Noah, Pierce, Ashley, Amanda, Holly, Jayme, Daniel and Rachel, eighteen great grandchildren, two brothers: Forrest Wall Jr., and Caroll Wall and two sisters: Kathy Snow and Ruby Buis all of Liberty, special nephews: Robert Downs and the late Thomas Downs, summer visitors: Alicia, Laura and Rachel, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was two children: James Elmore and Steven Elmore, one sister: Mae Buis and two brothers: Bobby and Carlos Wall.

All Services will be held private. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
