WILMINGTON, MA — Kirkwood is proud to announce that it has been honored with the Best Hard Cover Book award at the 2025 American Print Awards, recognizing exceptional craftsmanship, design execution, and production excellence.
Out of 97 entries submitted from across the country, only the best of the best were selected to receive top honors at the 2025 American Print Awards. As a proud member of the Printing Industries of New England (PINE.org)—an organization that has represented the printing and graphic communications industry for 138 years across six New England states—Kirkwood is especially honored to be recognized among such exceptional peers from across the nation who continue to elevate the art and craft of print.
The winning piece, Designed by DBOX for the Naftali Group, titled 255 East 77, stands as a testament to the power of print as both art and communication. Produced as a 128-page book with four double gatefolds (144 total pages), the project exemplifies the meticulous detail and collaborative artistry that define Kirkwood’s approach to complex, high-end publications.
Printed on 91# (135gsm) Fedrigoni Symbol Tatami White Text and wrapped in a foil-stamped cover, the book features 95# (140gsm) Fedrigoni Sirio Milkshake end leaves—all elements chosen for their texture, elegance, and ability to enhance the visual storytelling. Binding was expertly executed by Bassil Bookbinding Inc., whose craftsmanship elevated the tactile and structural quality of the final piece.
