Below is an announcement from Wilmington Community Television’s “Book Stew:”
Please join me as I welcome my very first guest author of a mystery series (actually, FOUR series!) to the October Book Stew episode. One of the series features a woman who solves crimes with the help of the spirit of her (ahem) deceased cat!
Clea Simon of Cambridge, MA is known for her “cozy” mysteries – she defines them as “When the blood is dry before it hits the page”. The four investigators featured in her books – Theda Krakow, Dulcie Schwartz, Pru Marlowe, and Becca Colwin – each work with cats and other animals, some living and some not, to solve their cases.
Clea also writes standalone psychological suspense novels, and here she reads from her latest, The Butterfly Trap.

Eileen MacDougall is the host/producer of 140+ episodes of Book Stew, a web series and podcast originating in 2013, featuring every variety of authors, illustrators, poets, and playwrights, plus a cat that survived a tornado and lived to write about it!
