WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, October 10, 2025:
National Grid employee reported a flying squirrel inside their warehouse on Ballardvale Street. Animal Control Officer responded. Squirrel was 25 feet up. Employees will leave doors open to see if it leaves on its own. (6:31am)
The police had taser training at the station. (8:26am)
A caller reported a gray Chevy SUV traveling on Main Street had blood all over it. Police located the vehicle, which was decorated for Halloween. (10:04am)
Joel Aristides Burgos Colon (42, Nashua, NH) was served a summons for Using An Electronic Device While Operating A Motor Vehicle and Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (1:57pm)
A caller reported a Dunkin’ employee wouldn’t give her a refund or make her order. She said this is causing a back up in the drive-thru. Caller later stated she no longer needed a police response as she was granted a refund. A different caller reported there was a female in the Dunkin’ drive-thru throwing things at an employee and causing a back-up. (2:35pm)
A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Salem Street, with one vehicle striking the house at 49 Salem Street. Fence and yard next door was damaged. Unspecified injuries. Vehicle towed. Police to file immediate threat (medical) paperwork. (3:45pm)
