WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 10 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, October 18, 2025:

The Wilmington-Tewksbury United Methodist Women is holding their annual Harvest and Holly Fair from 9am to 2pm. Treats and treasures await you, including baked goods, fudge, balloon animals, fashion boutique, household décor, gently used jewelry, handmade crafts, progressive auction, puzzles and luncheon. New this year are Raffle Baskets and a Cookie Walk (while supplies last!). Learn more HERE.

The New England Woodcarvers is holding a craft fair and special show (“The Spirit of Wood”) on Saturday, October 18, 2025 and Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 9am to 4pm both days, at Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Avenue). The event will include raffles, vendors, carvings for sale, woodcarvings from all over New England, free knife sharpening, woodcarving and art classes and soap carving for kids. The Boutwell PAC is holding a Trunk or Treat from 3pm to 5pm at the West Intermediate School (22 Cater Lane). All families are welcome — you don’t have to have a child at the Boutwell to participate. $10 per family. Concessions will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Boutwell PAC. The Wilmington Dance Academy’s Performance Team Fundraising Group is holding a Blacklight Party at the dance studio (335 Main Street). All children are welcome, including non-dance students. Ages 2 to 7, accompanied by a parent, will party from 5pm to 6:30pm. Ages 8-12 and Ages 13-16 will party from 6:30pm-8pm. The cost is $15 per child. Children should wear white or neon clothes. The Town’s Yardwaste Center, located on Old Main Street, off of Main Street at the Woburn line, will be open from 9am to 4pm.  No contractors or commercial vehicles will be allowed. The drop off of leaves and brush is permitted for Wilmington residents only. Wilmington residents wishing to use the Recycling Center will need to purchase a punch card for $15 which will be good for 5 visits to the Recycling Center. The punch cards may be purchased Monday through Friday (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) at the Tax Collector’s Office at the Town Hall at 121 Glen Road. You will be asked to present your punch card and a photo ID at the entrance to the facility.

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Babysitting Course for Teens (11-18) from 10am to 1pm. Learn more & register HERE.

The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.

Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.

The  Pumpkin Patch on the front lawn of the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) is open from 9:30am to 6:30pm. Learn more HERE.
