OBITUARY: Jeffrey Alan Zolt, 66

Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:

WILMINGTON, MA — Jeffrey Alan Zolt, “Jeff”, age 66, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Jeff was born on November 14, 1958, in New Bedford, MA. He was the cherished son of the late Abraham S. and Margot R. (Mikkelsen) Zolt. Jeff spent his early years in New Bedford before moving to Billerica, where he was raised and educated. He was a graduate of Billerica Memorial High School.

On May 21, 1983, Jeff married the love of his life, Charlotte E. (Coates), “Cece.” Together they made their home in Wilmington and raised two daughters, Tiffany and Brittany, who were the center of Jeff’s world. He was a devoted husband and a loving, hands-on father who took great pride in his family.

Jeff built a long and dedicated career at Analog Devices, working in various roles including quality control and shipping/receiving. Later in life, he found a new calling as a bartender at both the Wakefield Elks and the Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks. Jeff had a true gift for connecting with people—he loved his job and the many conversations he shared with patrons about life, family, and New England sports.

A lifelong sports fan, Jeff had a deep love for football and hockey, especially college hockey. He enjoyed nothing more than watching a good game with friends. Jeff was also passionate about music—he loved attending live shows and singing karaoke. His happy places were in Kingston, New Hampshire and Sanford, Maine, where he found peace and joy with family, friends, and his beloved dogs.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte E. “Cece” Zolt; his daughters, Tiffany (Zolt) Rodenhiser and her husband Joe, and Brittany Zolt. He leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and close friends who will remember his warmth, humor, and generous spirit. Jeff is also survived by his special dog, Kingston, and was deeply loved by his late dog, Titan.

Funeral arrangements will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor and remember Jeff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jeff’s name may be made to All Care Hospice, 210 Market Street, Lynn, MA 01901.

Arrangements under the direction of Nichols Funeral Home, Wilmington, MA.
