The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following classes and activities: Zumba (9am); Pickleball (9am); Fall Prevention (9am-11am); Movie (10am); Bocce (10am); Sewing (noon); Chair Yoga (noon); Women’s Billiards (12:30pm); Poker (1pm); Chess (1pm); Corn Hole (1:30pm); and Fit N Trim (2pm). The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Needleworkers (10am); Switch It Up! Video Game Club (3:45pm); and After Hours Murder Mystery Party (7pm).
The Pumpkin Patch on the front lawn of the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) is open today from 1pm to 7pm.
TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
