WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, September 26, 2025:
A caller reported traffic was backed up on Lowell Street from McKinnon’s to the 93 ramp. Turkeys in the roadway were causing the backup. Animal Control Officer responded and moved turkeys along. (8:24am)
A caller reported finding a rifle in her grandfather’s shed. It does not belong to her or her grandfather. She requested it be removed. (8:06pm)
Police noted three streetlights were out at Yentile Farm Recreational Facility. Police notified DPW and Public Buildings. (9:24pm)
Police responded to a road rage incident on Main Street. Man reportedly yelled “you don’t know what we are carrying.” Police restored the peace. (10:58pm)
