These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in.

Tiny Art Show Submission Deadline
Tuesday, September 30, All Day
Submit your tiny art by the deadline on September 30! Open to all ages and all mediums. Paint a tiny canvas, draw a tiny picture, create a tiny sculpture, a tiny felted creation, tiny knitting, or even tiny ceramics. Be creative!

Italians in Boston’s North End
Thursday, October 2, 6:30pm
Join author and historian Anthony Mitchell Sammarco for a talk on the evolution of Boston’s “Little Italy,” the North End. Thank you to the Wilmington Sons and Daughters of Italy for supporting this program.

Needleworkers
Friday, October 3, 10am-12pm
This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop-in.

Sip Coffee & Carve
Saturday, October 4, 10am-12pm
Discover the art of printmaking from scratch. Everyone will leave with their carved block, along with 3-5 unique prints of their creation. We’ll have some coffee ready to wake up your creative side!

Wilmington Community Playgroup

Join Community Teamwork Family Resource Network for a community playgroup where we’ll work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Ask CTI about any resources they can help provide for you and your family. Ages 0-6, siblings welcome

Teen Leadership Council

Are you interested in advocating for what you want at WML? Have you volunteered before, but want to commit to more? Join our Teen Leadership Council! Grades 7-12

Family Craft Night: Yarn Pumpkins

Create pumpkins using yarn with your family! There will be a variety of pumpkin options to choose from! Ages 3+

Taylor Swift Prerelease Party
Thursday, October 2, 3:30pm
Count down the hours to the release of The Life of a Showgirl with fellow Swifties at the library! We’ll have cookie decorating, trivia, and crafts to celebrate. Wear your glitteriest outfit and shine like a mirrorball! Grades 6-12

LEGO Building
Friday, October 3, 3:45pm
Build with LEGOs at the same time as other LEGO fans and display what you make in the library! Grades K-5

Costume Craze!
Saturday, October 4, 10am-4pm
Costume Craze is back! Donate new or lightly worn youth Halloween costumes to the library between 9/2-9/30! Come by on October 4 to find a new-to-you kids or teen costume (no donation required)! All Ages
