The Wilmington High School Football Team is partnering with We’re One Wilmington to hold a Donation Drive at their first home game tonight at Alumni Stadium. The team is asking fans to bring shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, paper towels, and other toiletries.
The Wilmington Knights of Columbus is holding a Meat Raffle Bingo Night fundraiser at the KofC Hall’s O’Leary Pub (112 Middlesex Avenue). Bingo will begin at 7:30pm sharp.
The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following classes and activities: Zumba (9am); Pickleball (9am); Bocce (10am); Wood Carving (10am); Sewing (noon); Chair Yoga (noon); Poker (1pm); Chess (1pm); Corn Hole (1:30pm); and Fit N Trim (2pm). Learn more HERE.
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is closed from 9am to 11am due to Staff Development.
TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
