WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Police Department has seized more than 15 kilograms of cocaine from a local Federal Express facility.
The discovery was made earlier this week by local authorities. The estimated street value of the confiscated drugs exceeds $1 million. At this time, no arrests have been made.
“We are committed to disrupting the flow of illegal narcotics into our community,” said Brian Pupa, Chief of the Wilmington Police Department. “This seizure represents a significant blow to those trafficking dangerous drugs in and around our community.”
No additional details are being released at this time due to the sensitive nature of the investigation.
