WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, September 12, 2025:
A caller from Shawsheen Elementary School reported a male party walking on Hopkins Street wearing what appeared to be a ballistic vest. Firefighter knew that an off-duty firefighter wears a weighted vest and runs on Shawsheen Avenue. He called him directly and was advised he was out for a run. Police confirmed. BOLO was cancelled. (10:48am)
Police advised a party on high school property about speaking to children 30 minutes before or after school time. (2:22pm)
A caller reported 3 juveniles riding intentionally into traffic near Shawsheen Avenue. Police spoke with the juveniles and advised them not to. (4:13pm)
Michael Adam Holden (36, Wilmington) was served a summons for Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. (5:51pm)
