Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:

WILMINGTON, MA — Dolores Anne (Kinkaid) Ouellette, age 82, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away on September 8, 2025.

Dolores was born on April 9, 1943, in Portsmouth, NH. She was the cherished daughter of the late Arthur J. and Florine M. (Rinalducci) Kinkaid. Dolores was raised in Portsmouth and graduated from Portsmouth High School and Fisher College in Boston.

Dolores was the beloved wife of Leonard P. Ouellette, devoted mother of Kevin Ouellette and his wife Michelle of Wellesley and Nicole Soule and her husband Aaron of Marblehead, loving “Nana” of Andrew Ouellette, Matthew Ouellette, Jacob Soule, and Dylan Soule, and dear sister of Dorothy Sandquist and her husband Carl of Florida and sister-in-law of Donald and Donna Ouellette of Wilmington and the late Suzanne and Andre Hebert of Maine. Dolores was also the aunt of Brian Ouellette, Eric Ouellette, Karen Bowden, Matthew Ouellette, and Brett Sandquist.

After graduating from Fisher in 1963, Dolores worked as a legal secretary at Choate Hall & Stewart in Boston. She met Lennie at a Christmas cocktail party in 1965, and they wed in Portsmouth, NH, on June 24, 1967. They moved to Wilmington in 1969, where they’ve resided ever since. Dolores loved attending her children’s and her grandchildren’s performances and sporting events. She was an avid golfer, playing often with her family and friends in New England and Florida. She loved the beach—in NH, on Cape Cod, and in Florida. She had a green thumb and could frequently be seen tending to her gardens and flowers. And she loved a friendly game of hearts, whist, or dominoes.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, September 15th, from 9:00 -10:00 a.m., immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
