WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, September 5, 2025:
A caller reported she thinks she found human remains in the bottom of a swimming pool she is cleaning for a friend. Police responded. No bones were present. (1:05am)
Police received report of snapping turtle that was possibly struck by a vehicle on Pinewood Road. Police responded and removed the turtle. (2:33pm)
Police notified DPW that wink-o-meters near the Boutwell School are not working at this time. (3:43pm)
A motorcyclist skidded out on Shawsheen Avenue. Operator was transported to Lahey Hospital by the Fire Department. (5:07pm)
Wilmington Police attempted to assist Billerica Police with missing a locating juvenile. (7:42pm)
A motorcyclist crashed on Concord Street (93 Overpass). Operator was transported by Fire Department. (9:34pm)
