ENDORSEMENT: Wilmington Democratic Town Committee Supports A “YES” Vote For The New Wildwood School

Below is a press release from the Wilmington Democratic Town Committee:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Democratic Town Committee (WDTC) voted unanimously on September 2, 2025 to support the construction of the proposed new Wildwood School. We believe the project represents a sound financial investment in the future of our children and grandchildren!

The WDTC encourages all registered voters – Democrats, Republicans and Unenrolled – to attend the Special Town Meeting on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 9:00 A.M. at Wilmington High School to show your support for this financially feasible project. In addition, voters need to cast their ballot either through early voting at the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall or at your voting precincts on September 16, 2025.

The new Wildwood School will replace three schools that were built before 1964 and represent a significant cost to renovate. This project represents the most cost-effective option for Wilmington taxpayers and will be supplemented by State funds. Please join the WDTC in casting your ballot in favor of the new Wildwood School project!
