WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 10 things to do in Wilmington on Monday, September 8, 2025:

The Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce is holding its Annual Golf Classic at the Trull Brook Golf Course (170 River Road) in Tewksbury. Registration begins at 7am with a continental breakfast. Golfing starts at 8am. The Classic is a shotgun style, best-ball scramble tournament. There will be opportunities to win great prizes in on-course contests. There’s a $150 cost to play — $600 for a foursome.  Admission includes 18 holes with cart, continental breakfast, networking, fun contests, awards, and post-tournament 12:30pm lunch reception. The Wilmington Firefighters Union Local #1370 is raising funds to construct a memorial wall in front of the Wilmington Public Safety Building. One side of the wall will honor two fallen Wilmington firefighters — Wilbur Sheldon and Russell Prat — who were killed in the line of duty back in 1927. The other side of the wall will list the department’s retirees. The Union is holding a Golf Tournament at Hillview Country Club in North Reading to continue to funds for the memorial. Check in at 7:30am. Tee off at 8am. Tournament (4-person scramble) costs $150 per player. The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Bilingual Story Hour (10am); Needleworkers at Night (6pm); and Streaming Services and Other Alternatives to Cable (7pm).

The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following events and activities: Tai Chi (9am); Pickleball Lessons (9am); Walking Group (9:30am); Bocce (10am); Special Exercise (10:30am); Wii Bowling (11:30am); Bon Voyage Forever (1pm); and Strength & Stretch (2pm). Learn more HERE.

The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open for free tours from 10am to 2pm.

The Wilmington Knights of Columbus hosts cribbage games every Monday night at 6:30pm in the KofC’s downstairs hall (142 Middlesex Avenue). $7 entry fee. All skill levels are welcome. Open to the general public (21 and up).
