Needleworkers at Night
Monday, September 8, 6-8pm
These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in.

Streaming Services and Other Alternatives to Cable
Monday, September 8, 7-8pm
Come join Technology Librarian Brad as he presents alternatives to cable, such as Netflix, Sling TV and the library. While not all free, the alternatives will save you quite a bit of money every month.

Cookin’ the Books
Tuesday, September 9, 12-1pm
If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes, then this group is for you! Grab a copy of the cookbook, register on the library’s event calendar, and record your recipe. Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes! Featured Cookbook: Pass the Plate by Caroline Gelen.

Fun & Function of iPhone
Thursday, September 11, 2:30pm
Whether you’re new to the iPhone or looking to unlock its hidden potential, this session will cover essential tips, tricks, and features to make your device both practical and enjoyable.

Cider & Cozy Crafts
Thursday, September 11, 6-8pm
Come by the first floor of the library to unwind! We will have a Self-Serve Apple Cider Bar, including fun mix-ins. Try some cozy crafts like origami, rock painting, or sketching from fall-themed still lifes. Or, break out one of the library’s puzzles or board games.

Needleworkers
Friday, September 12, 10am-12pm
This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop-in.

Bilingual Story Hour
Monday, September 8, 10am
Practice using your home language or learn a new language with the Community Teamwork Family Resource Network! Ages 0-6.

Preschool Storytime
Tuesday, September 9, 10am
Join us at our Preschool Storytime! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Ages 3-6

Teen Leadership Council
Tuesday, September 9, 6pm
Are you interested in advocating for what you want at WML? Have you volunteered before, but want to commit to more? Join our Teen Leadership Council! Grades 7-12

Time for Twos

Family Craft Night: Tiny Art

Excited about the Tiny Art Show and want to submit but don’t know where to start? Come to this all ages event where you can paint or draw your 3x3x3 art. All Ages

Baby Time

Crafternoon

Make a fun craft with us during Crafternoon! This month’s craft will be decoupaged shells! Grades 4-8

Outdoor Drop-In Read to Stormy
Thursday, September 11, 4-5:30pm (15-minute sessions)
Come practice your reading skills with Therapy Dog, Stormy! In this special session, there are no registrations! Drop-in anytime between 4:00-5:30pm for a first-come, first-served time slot outside in the Peggy Kane Reading Garden. Grades K-6

Music with Dara
Friday, September 12, 10am
With keyboard, felt board, and finger puppets, Dara weaves songs (old and new favorites) and creative movement for a fun-filled musical program! Ages 2-5, siblings welcome

LEGO Building
Friday, August 8, 3pm
Build with LEGOs at the same time as other LEGO fans and display what you make in the library! Grades K-5

Join author Sy Montgomery on Thursday, September 25th at 7:30pm (doors open at 6:30pm) as she discusses her journey as an author. There will be a cash bar, book sales & an autograph signing! Sy Montgomery is best known for her books The Good, Good Pig and The Soul of an Octopus. Registration is now open! This is a free event, open to ages 9+, and is located at the Wilmington Senior Center.

Regular hours are back at The Book Store Next Door! The bookstore is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.
