Topics covered during this meeting include: town recognition of Patrol Officer Meghan Sousa and Sergeant Daniel Furbush for their response to a medical emergency and the Wilmington Police Explorers for their achievements. In addition, the board heard and voted on multiple requests including athletic car washes and a block party.
School Committee Meeting (August 20, 2025)
The Wilmington School Committee met on August 20, 2025, to review start-of-school updates, staffing and enrollment figures, upcoming facility needs, and ongoing preparations for the proposed Wildwood Elementary School replacement. The Committee also discussed communications protocols, transportation logistics, and other topics affecting the upcoming academic year.
