ENDORSEMENT: Wilmington Republican Town Committee Supports A ‘NO’ Vote For New School Project

Below is a press release from the Wilmington Republican Town Committee:

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Republican Town Committee has voted almost unanimously to oppose the construction of the proposed Wildwood School located at the site of the current North Intermediate School. The vote occurred on the evening of August 26th 2025 with only voting members of the committee casting a vote on the measure.

The Wilmington Republican Town Committee urges Republican and or Conservative voters in town to attend the special town meeting on September 13th at the Wilmington High School, and vote in ballot election for the over ride on September 16th (early voting is on going at the town hall) at your voting precinct. WRTC Members are concerned with the continually rising property taxes and extravagant nature of this proposal and their effect on our lower income residents as well as the elderly across town.
