WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, August 20, 2025:
A caller reported a goose with possible 2 broken legs was in the middle of the Amazon parking lot on Salem Street. Police responded. Bird has fishing wire around both legs, but was able to fly off before wire was removed. (9:44am)
Employee at Simards reported a customer came in, acting erratically, and trying to pick a fight with staff. Party left in a black Hyundai heading northbound on Main Street. Police responded and spoke with employees, who would like the party trespassed. (1:40pm)
A walk-in party reported receiving a suspicious letter. (6:08pm)
A caller reported possibly identity theft. (7:22pm)
